If you are a high school student and need community service hours, consider being a “Junior Volunteer” at the Finkelstein Memorial Library in the children’s department.  For more information please call 352-5700 ext., 237 and ask for Sue Donohue, Children’s Librarian/Volunteer Coordinator.  


 

3 Apples Book Club

3 Apples Book Club


Age: 8-10 years old
Mondays, January 11 – March 22
Time: 4:30-5:30 PM

Please note: no sessions January 18 and February 15

 

Each year the 3 Apples Book Award creates a list of fifteen popular titles for New York State children to vote on after reading at least three of the books.  Join us each Monday as we enjoy games, crafts, and activities to inspire discussion and celebration of these books. 

Registration starts December 28, 2009.
