Art Exhibits this Month

From paintings and photos to sculptures and collectibles, Finkelstein Memoral Library offers a number of quality exhibits throughout the year. The Library strives to present some of the best works of local artists, photographers and collectors, celebrating both the talent and diversity of our community.

East Ramapo Central School District 2017 Art Exhibit -- Jan. 5 – Feb. 22

Student artwork in a variety of mediums, forms and styles will be coordinated by art teacher Colleen Vanderhoef in celebration of the library’s 100th year of service to the community.  The students will present their artwork on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 5:30 – 7:30 PM. A musical performance is scheduled and light refreshments will
be served.


The Kohen Family -- March 4 – April 20

Sketches and drawings on paper by Dr. Chaim Kohen’s son, honoring his last wish to display his artwork at our library. Join the Kohen family for an art reception with light refreshments after the concert, on Sunday, March 26, 3:30 – 4:30 PM.



East Ramapo Universal Pre-K -- April 25 – May 28

Artworks in various styles on diverse materials by our future Rembrandts. Art festival is on Friday, April 28. For information on exhibits call the reference desk: 845-352-5700, ext. 244.
