"Writing Out Of Your Life"
with author Lynn Lauber

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2007 at 2 p.m.

Lynn Lauber, author of “Listen to Me: Writing Life into Meaning," “White Girls” and “21 Sugar Street” will chronicle her personal journey as a writer and longtime teacher this Sunday at the library. 

 

This Sunday's New York Times included an article by Ms. Lauber, "When One of Me Suddenly Became Three."(Style Desk) (MODERN LOVE) The New York Times  157.54125 (Nov 11, 2007): pST6(L). 

 

Ms. Lauber will explore “how writing - both fiction and creative non fiction – has served as a means of personal navigation, a healing and avenging force, and a way of calling up not only a lost daughter but also a lost self.”  Ms. Lauber has conducted workshops at colleges and libraries throughout the country.

 

Light refreshments will be served.

 

Admission is free, but seating for this program for adults is limited. We urge you to call the Friends line to reserve your seat.  Tickets will be held at the door and ticket holders will be seated first.
