Job Corps Training
Receive hands-on career training and education! Financially eligible  trained for a career and gain the skills necessary for a successful future. Students would live on campus while working towards their goals. Job Corps offers a variety of training programs and a GED or high school diploma. For more information, contact your local admissions counselor Emily Bender at 347-564-1341.

Job Workshops at the Library 

Jobs FairIn May, 2017,  the New State Department of Transportation (DOT) in collaboration with Assemblywoman Ellen Jaffee held a Job Recruitment Fair at the Library.

The Job Recruitment Fair provided information to the community about available job opportunities in public works such as Highway Maintenance including Junior Engineer, Junior Landscape architect, motor equipment mechanic, bridge repair assistant, etc. They are looking to fill up those positions immediately, these are permanent positions with state benefits.

In addition, the Rockland County Career Center, BOCES Adult Education, the National Tractor Trailer School, along with many other organizations were onsite to provide information about other job training programs, career opportunities, and other services that they offer.
