Our music concert series will run on the Sundays shown below. All of the concerts are FREE. Our concerts take place in the Library's Fielding Room on the third floor. Please mark your calendars!

The Music Makers

The popular "Music Makers" have been in existence for over thirty years. The group will perform music and songs of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, reminiscent of disc jockey Martin Block's Make Believe Ballroom. This should be an enjoyable mix of music and comedy.

Sunday, Feb. 9 at 2 p.m.

Marc Mathelier and Michele Sorel

Guitarist Marc Mathelier and soprano Michele Sorel return to the library to perform selections of romantic music.

Marc Mathelier, a native of Liberia, began playing classical guitar at the age of eleven. A versatile guitarist and avid musician, his styles of repertoire range from Baroque to Fusion-Alternative/New Age.

Singer Michele Sorel is a versatile performer of folk, pop, classical and world music. She has performed on the stages of Avery Fisher Hall - NYC, Carnegie Hall - NYC, The Music Center - LA, Center in the Square-ONT, Teatro Municipal-Rio, Brasil, Auditorio Manuel de Falla- Granada, Spain, Societo Filharmonica-Trento, Italy, and Palais Lichtenstein-Vienna, Austria.

The Men in My Life: Eve Fingal

This dynamic young vocalist Eve Fingal and her band will perform songs of male artists who influenced Eve's sound as a singer/songwriter.
