Tax Assistance at the Library

This year the Library is again serving as a site for AARP Tax-Aide. Volunteer tax preparers will be available to assist in the preparation of state and federal tax returns on Mondays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., from Saturday, February 2 -- Monday, April 14. Please note: on Feb. 18 volunteers will be available starting at noon. Bring all tax papers for 2008 and copies of 2007 tax returns. This service is provided through the R.C. Office for the Aging, 364-2110.

  PICK UP TAX FORMS AT THE LIBRARY

  The Library has printed copies of the most popular tax forms from the IRS and New York State beginning January 22. These forms are found on the third floor of the Library.
