Summer Reading Logging 2025

Slogan-Only-Post

What is Summer Reading?

Reading over the summer helps prevent the summer slide, the set back that happens over the summer. The first six weeks of school in the fall are spent catching up to where students were at the end of the previous school year.

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children and teens to read over the summer by allowing them to earn prizes and enter raffles for every book they read!

Step 1: Register starting 5/21

Step 2: Pick up your Welcome Prize in the Children’s Room starting 7/7

Step 3: Log the books you read this summer (any books, from anywhere!) from 7/7-8/17

Step 4: Enter your raffle tickets on your ReadSquared account

Step 5: Receive free prizes based on the number of books read & logged during Prize Pickup Week 8/20-8/26
