All new volunteers and returning volunteers must complete an application. All new volunteers must attend an orientation.
Summer Reading Station
The cornerstone of our summer reading challenge! Help our younger patrons register and log the books they’ve read all summer long. Daytime and evening shifts available.
Program Help
Sign up to help out at programs for all ages throughout the summer. From helping to pour paint to making slime, each program offers a different experience. Come join the fun!
Reading Buddies
Share your love of reading with a buddy! Play word games and read together with a reader in elementary school.
ARC Angels
Never enough time to read for pleasure? This is the virtual volunteer program you need! Read an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC) and write a comprehensive review using our handy Google form. ARCs will be provided by the library and are yours to keep. Earn community service hours based on length of book, based on three hours per 100 pages plus 1 hour per review. For example, a 300 page book will earn 10 community service hours.
