Homework Help
Our Homework Help volunteers help children in Gr. 1-6 with their homework assignments after school. Volunteers must submit their most recent report card in addition to the application. Hours are 4:00-5:45pm, Mondays & Wednesdays. This program meets in person! Volunteers make their own schedule each month using SignUp. Each hour spent tutoring earns one hour of community service.
Teen Advisory Board
Our Teen Advisory Board helps shape our teen program by participating in brainstorming ideas, offering suggestions, and helping to promote library services to teens. Meetings will be held monthly. Earn one hour of community service for attending each monthly meeting.
Project LIT
Another opportunity to read! Participate in a Project Lit event and earn community service hours for both reading, promoting, and discussing books. Earn community service hours based on length of book, based on three hours per 100 pages, plus earn 1 hour for each discussion attended.
Crafts for a Cause
Help our library each week by making decorations, helping with craft program preparations, and more! Meets once a week for two hours. This is an in person volunteer opportunity. Each hour spent crafting earns one hour of volunteer time.
ARC Angels
Never enough time to read for pleasure? This is the volunteer program you need! Read an Advanced Reading Copy (ARC) and write a comprehensive review using our handy Google form. ARCs will be provided by the library and are yours to keep. Earn community service hours based on length of book, based on three hours per 100 pages plus 1 hour per review. For example, a 300 page book will earn 10 community service hours.
