Join us once a month for our Teen Makers series where we will get creative with art, science, technology, and engineering to “make” different projects. This is a drop in program.
/24: Solar-Powered Art – Use the power of the sun and your choice of objects or outdoor materials to create artwork! This is an outdoor program– rain date: 10/15.
/22: Preserved Leaf Garland – Use beeswax to preserve the beautiful colors of the fallen leaves and turn them into a festive garland!
/19: Code a Mad Lib – A Mad Lib is a short story with words taken out that a player fills in without knowing where the story is going to go, which often ends up with very funny results. In this Teen Makers session, you will be guided through how to use the Python coding language to create your own Mad Lib – no coding experience required!
/17: Create a Crystal – Learn how to grow your own crystal! Choose the color and help shape the base, then submerge it in a special solution and watch your crystal take shape.
