Pop Art with Michael Albert (Family) 
Wednesday, (11/19) from 6:15 PM – 8:15 PM


Participants of all ages engage in creating their own collages using recycled materials, particularly cereal boxes, fostering creativity and environmental awareness. Albert will share insights into his artistic journey, influences, and the evolution of his collage techniques. Attendees will receive complimentary posters featuring Albert’s artwork! All adults (18+) must attend with a student in grades K-12. Registration preferred. First come, first served.

Library Littles

 These not drop-off programs; caregivers must remain in the room. No registration required.

Toddler Time (Walkers – Preschool Age 3)

Toddlers, preschoolers, and their grown-ups can join us for fun: stories, fingerplays, music, and movement with scarves, instruments, and more! We will incorporate early literacy tips that can also be used at home.

Baby Lap Time (Pre-Walkers)
Every Thursday*, (9/11 – 12/18) from 10:30 – 11:30 AM

Caregivers and their infants are invited to their first story time program. This bonding program is specially designed for pre-walkers. Babies will get exposure to stories, songs, and movement, while their grown-ups will get a chance to chat with other caregivers, learn fun ways to entertain Baby, and create special moments together. Siblings welcome.

Zumbini with Tina (Birth – Preschool Age 3)
Wednesdays, (9/17 & 10/15) from 9:45-10:30 AM 
& (11/12 & 12/10) from 11:00-11:45 AM


Music and movement class for you and your child. Get your child moving where the science of child development meets the magic of Zumba!

Reading Buddies

Reading Buddies (Gr. 1-3)

Reading is fun with a buddy! Your child will practice their phonics and decoding skills in a relaxed environment alongside our teen volunteers by playing literacy games and reading together…and new for this Fall: Every third Monday of the month at Reading Buddies we welcome a special, four footed visitor! Buddies will be able to take turns reading to their new furry friend to help build confidence and improve reading fluency. Please note: this program is intended for struggling readers. Registration required once per school year. 

Mini Makers (Gr. K-3)
Wednesdays (9/10 & 11/5), Monday (10/6) & Tuesday (12/2) from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM


Create, make, and innovate at the Library!

9/10: Tech Toys (Discover, explore, and play with robots, circuits and more!) 

10/6: Jack-o-Lantern Prints (Get into the spooky spirit and design your own.) 

11/5: Gumdrop Builders (How high can you build a tower out of gum drops?)

12/2: Let it snow! (Create a chemical change and see a snow storm in a jar.)

Mug Makeover (Gr. 4-6)

Join us in the Makerspace to create a design, cut it out with the Cricut machine, and transfer it onto a ceramic mug to turn it into your own masterpiece! Registration is required.

Sew Simple! (Gr. 4-6)
Wednesdays, (10/22 & 12/17) from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM


Stop by our Makerspace and make use of our sewing machines for a beginner project—no experience needed! Registration is required.

11/4: Coding Keychain (Make a beaded design with binary, a secret computer code.)

12/3: Macrame Minis (Use creative knots and twists to design your own keychain.)
