The Finkelstein Library family is devastated by the terrible tragedy that took Sandra Wilson, Security Guard on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 in a senseless act of violence. The library will re-open to the public on Monday, February 24th at 1:00 p.m.

In Honor of Women’s History Month
Screening with Filmmaker Craig Dudnick

A documentary about Alice Tregay, a woman who refused to stand still for injustice and brought others together to change what was. Her remarkable story spans the historic period from the marches of Dr. Martin Luther King to the election of Barack Obama; her great contribution in the field of politics is the thread which connects the two. A discussion will follow the screening.

Finkelstein Memorial library cards are FREE and available to all residents and property owners in the East Ramapo Central School District. Library cards are valid at all public libraries in the Ramapo Catskill Library System.

Library cards can be obtained at the Library’s front desk by presenting a valid photo ID and proof of East Ramapo Central School District (ERCSD) address with your name.

Please call us if you have any questions. 845-352-5700, ext. 250 or stop by the Circulation desk as you enter the Library.

Anyone 18 yrs. or older must present a valid photo ID.

The Library offers FREE guest passes or tickets to several museums making it easier than ever to reap the benefits of living in such close proximity to some of the best museums in the world!

Please stop by the Library or call (845)352-5700, ext. 244 to inquire about pass or ticket availability. You can arrange to pick up tickets or passes if available.
